FAQs
I am not strong or bendy, can I still try?
Aerial is a great way to get stronger and more flexible! In our beginner classes, we can lower the equipment to help you get on easily and we’ll start off with the basics such as sitting and standing moves. It’s such a great way to exercise as you don’t realise you are exercising because you’re having so much fun! It’s like being a kid again, getting to climb and spin!
What do I need to wear?
Long leggings or joggers to cover your skin and a t-shirt is fine but bring a jumper incase we do tricks where you want your skin covered as it can be a little pinchy if you’ve not done it before.
In the colder months, wear layers like leggings and joggers on top and you can always take a layer off once you warm up. Thick socks or several are a good idea. This is due to being in a warehouse which we need the high ceilings to fly from! But, don’t worry, we do have infrared heaters to take the edge off!
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Water and any medication you might need (for example, an inhaler).
I am scared and nervous but I really want to try, should I come?
As a qualified mental health and exercise coach, I will do my best to help you feel as comfortable as possible. Please feel free to contact me and we can discuss what might help you, like coming to visit the space and me beforehand. I will be there to support and encourage you at your pace. I’ll also be your biggest cheerleader!
